Amin Hammami pieces together fragments of scultpture sound and timbre (sculpture sonore) with instrumental and sound samples, combining acousmatic and classical harmonic genres.
Katarina DJ Urošević uses a sequence of videos and images to transform the sound atmosphere into a live visual collage.
Hammami and Urošević audio-visual collaboration will be streamed in real time from Serbia and Tunisia to the venue in Birmingham.
Mohamed Amin Hammami is a musician and musicologist from Tunisia, exploring music & new technologies, audio engineering in electronics. As a cultural scientist and sonic arts practitioner he uses natural and biological sounds in his electroacoustic works and soundscape projects. Hammami is a lecturer in sound-design and sonic composition in the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts at Manouba, Tunisia.
Katarina Đorđević Urošević (Belgrade, Serbia), graduated from the Academy of Art in Novi Sad in painting. She holds a certificate in web design from ITAcademy design. She works as a visual and digital artist, and was the director for Cultural Web Serbia portals. She currently is working on a master’s thesis in digital art.
