As part of the NMF 2013 programme we commissioned local curator Samuel Rodgers to curate an exhibition of sound installations relating to the theme of networking.
Open 12-6pm during Network Music Festival and 12-5pm the following Thursday to Saturday, the exhibition will take place at The Lombard Method, just round the corner from the main festival venue and will run from 22 February – 2 March 2013.
Samuel Rodgers will present an exhibition of video and installation work by Dominick Allen, Steven Dickie and Pete McPartlan. Taking the notion of networking as a point of departure, the artists have made new works that variously explore the nature of the singular within a mass, the transmission and exchange of abstract thought, distraction/interruption, and the clumsy reality of electronic devices.
Join us for the exhibition preview on Thursday 21 February 6-8pm!
You can find more information on the exhibition and artists here.
The exhibition is FREE to attend so just drop in and enjoy!
